Cityscape was a conceptional apparel design for DC Shoes. It was based on the ideation to create a limited edition collection that would capture the essence of the city. The concept was to use the elements that defined the city, that being the iconic Manhattan skyline in harmony with the yellow of the NYC taxis and also incorporated a map of the Subway lines transversing across the sole.
This was a part of a range called Cityscape that would also include other iconic Metropolis like Paris, London, Tokyo, Madrid and Moscow. The signature range would play homage to each city’s unique vistas and showcase its character.
